get involved
board interns
The WiCS board internship program is an opportunity for underclassmen to get more involved with WiCS. Interns join a board subteam, work on a meaningful project related to their team and assist the leads and directors with team initiatives.
The intern program is an awesome way to join a community of supportive friends & mentors who will guide you throughout your Stanford career and beyond. Applications open every fall and winter. Details here.
fellows
The Fellows program is a year-long technical program comprising speaker series, workshops and group projects. Join a supportive and welcoming community, meet other students interested in tech, make friends at social events, and learn from upperclassmen.
This program is open to all Stanford students (frosh welcome!) and no prior coding experience is required, but CS 106A is recommended. Applications open every fall. Details here.
outreach
The outreach team runs educational programs in partnership with local non-profits and public schools serving low-income, historically underrepresented high schoolers who are interested in tech. The outreac team is always looking for volunteers to support this program in roles from curriculum design to mentoring.
As a volunteer, you'll work to ensure instructional activities are well-designed and effective and develop long-term relationships with the students you'll be mentoring in the program. Details here.
