Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Isabel is a senior at Stanford studying Computer Science, with a focus on systems and artificial intelligence. Outside of WiCS, she is also the President of the Society of Latinx Engineers, and she is passionate about educational outreach and making STEM education more accessible to historically underrepresented communities. She has previously worked at Sandia National Laboratories, Microsoft, and Apple, and currently conducts research at the Stanford Laboratory of Quantitative Imaging and Artificial Intelligence. Outside of school, she enjoys running, playing soccer, baking, photography, hiking, and being outdoors.
